My name is Günter Reidick, I was born on 27April 1959 and I am living in Duisburg.
My hobby is thai- and kickboxing, but I have either always been interested in music. Since 1974 I am fan of Peter Maffay, whom I first saw live during the “Carambolage”-tour in 1984. In 1985 I was present to the “Sonne in der Nacht”-tour and first saw Tony Carey as special guest on this tour.
I have been enthused of Tony’s music from the begin on and bought his album “Blue Highway” right afterwards. Even today I am listening nearly every day to “Out of town woman” and “Troubadour” from the album “Rare Tracks”.
During one performance of the “Storyville”-tour in 1990 in Cologne I was standing right in front of the stage and him, but first 13 years later I had the luck to know him personally on 23 February 2003 in Egling Peißenberg near Munich. Since this meeting Tony is a good friend for me and I am being in touch with him regularly.
I would like to thank especially Tanja Riedl who have brought Tony back on stage and to his fans.
Furthermore I like to listen to the music of Mark Knopfler, Don Henley Eagles, Joe Cocker, Elvis Presley,
Eric Clapton ,Chris Isaak and Chris Rea.
